HOW DO I BUY A PAINTING?
I create a variety of paintings throughout the year that will periodically be released on my website. Before they are available for sale they will be advertised on my social media pages and on my mailing list.
CAN I COMMISSION A PAINTING?
I am taking a break from doing commissions at this time. In addition to being an artist, I also work full-time for an employer. To make the most of my time, I've decided to solely focus my energy on creating a variety of work for my collectors that comes naturally to me. I intend to create as much work as I can, so stay tuned for that piece that speaks to you! My email subscribers get a first peek at all the new paintings I plan to release, so stay tuned for those emails!
HOW IS MY ARTWORK SHIPPED?
ORIGINALS: Shipping is only offered within the United States at this time. They will be shipped with tracking numbers within 7 days of purchase. Most artwork will ship via FedEx or USPS, and most packages will arrive within 5 days (US domestic). Artwork under 48 inches is carefully wrapped in paper and fitted into a secured cardboard box. Artwork larger than 48 inches is sent un-stretched and rolled safely in a sturdy tube. Your local framer will be able to re-stretch your painting. I would suggest getting a few quotes in your area, and I would be happy to work directly with the framer of your choice to assist you with this. This typically costs between $100 - $200, depending on the size and location. If you prefer to ship your large painting fully stretched, I will work with a freight service to expertly handle the painting so that it is delivered safely. This option includes additional fees ($300 - $500). PRINTS: All prints are made to order on high-quality matte canvas, using the latest giclee printing technology. Current average production time is 1-4 business days, but in some circumstances, it may take a few extra days due to a high increase in daily orders. Then the artwork will ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS, and most packages will arrive within 5 days (US domestic). Since it’s not stretched, it will arrive safely in a protective tube or mailer. Please bear with us a little while as each piece is made to order just for you!
WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY
ORIGINALS: All original painting sales are final. That being said, it is my goal that you are absolutely thrilled with your purchase! I do my best to accurately represent each painting, so please look carefully through all of the photos of the painting you wish to purchase. Please note that every monitor is different, therefore colors may vary slightly between different viewing screens. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me with any questions you have, especially when purchasing a large painting. I'd be happy to send additional photos or create a rendering of how the photo will look in your space if you provide me with a well-lit photo of the wall you wish to hang the painting from a straight-ahead viewpoint. PRINTS: Please open and check your prints immediately upon receiving them. I accept print returns and exchanges within 7 days of receipt. If you do not reach out within 7 days, I will be unable to make a return, so please be prompt! Please note that I fulfill exchange requests only after receiving the returned print. If you wish to return a reproduction print, a restocking fee amounting to 20% of the print cost will be applied. I am more than happy to exchange a print for you, though the restocking fee for the original print will still be applied, as I print to order and try my best to not have prints sitting in stock.
WHAT IF I RECEIVE MY PRINT, BUT IT'S DAMAGED?
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS LOST OR STOLEN?
DAMAGED ITEMS I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service, nor am I liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. Please be kind when reaching out and remember that I do not run the post office or UPS, and I have no control over the treatment of your package in transit! It’s just as much of a bummer for me to see damaged prints as it is for you to receive them. Damaged items, or items in which the carrier failed to provide delivery confirmation are replaced at no cost. This must be reported within 7 days of receipt in order to qualify for a full replacement. Please contact me to initiate the process. PRINTS - ITEMS NOT DELIVERED If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. I am unable to replace any print order for free if the shipping address is incorrect. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost, stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything we can do on our end, so we are unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly. If a package is unable to be delivered, and is returned to my studio, I are happy to reship, but ask that you pay the for the additional postage.
WHAT ARE THE OWNERSHIP RIGHTS?
I retain all rights to all of the artwork I create. When you purchase an original painting, you as a buyer have the right to display the artwork in your home or business, but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission. I retain the right to make reproductions of any artwork I create. The buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without my written permission. If the artwork ends up being represented in a magazine or other media, I only ask for credit.
